Across the River

My current WIP novel, Across the River, centers around a biracial princess named Ivarni. Her parents, a king and queen, were forbidden lovers, hailing from two rival kingdoms. Ivarni's mother governed a people of elegance; a people of grace, poise and skin the color of cocoa. Her father governed a tribal people with skin like snow; with wild hearts and a nature-based spirituality. Both lands had long been enemies. Thus the king and queen could never be together. Nonetheless, they begot a daughter, Ivarni, who is considered "illegitimate" and a "disgrace" because of her mixed heritage. She is forbidden from entering either land.

But when the king and queen are tragically murdered, Ivarni must take her parents' place on the throne and find a way to unite both kingdoms–and prove herself a worthy queen.

Percival

My first book, Percival, is about one of King Arthur's Knights of the Round Table. Raised in a forest by his mother, Percival has been raised entirely in isolation. But when he meets a group of knights riding through the forest, he decides to finally chase his dream of leaving the woods to become a knight of Camelot. Percy must learn to adapt to the world beyond the trees as he embarks on the adventure of a lifetime. Befriending the right people, fighting dangerous enemies, learning about albinism, falling in love, discovering the difference between justice and revenge...all must happen before his quest may end. But he must also discover his true quest before it's too late. There are even bigger things at stake than he knows...

Percival is in the editing/publishing process through ALLI Self-Publishing, and is currently set to be available for purchase in Summer 2021!
